Hans J. Wegner CH27

The CH27 easy chair in solid oak and cane is a remarkable creation by the renowned chair master, Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007). Building on the weaving design of his JH512 folding chair in 1949, Wegner further experimented with the motif and crafted this fixed version in 1951. The result was a stunning piece of furniture that incorporated the best features of his rare Dolphin chair from 1950, the JH512 folding chair, and the CH25 easy chair from 1950. However, the CH27 easy chair stands alone as a masterpiece.
