Large vintage stoneware table lamp designed by Einar Johansen for Søholm in excellent condition.
This lamp features a beautiful glaze alternating between shades of deep blue tones highlighting the pretty patterns. Fitted with a new paper pleated shade. This lamp makes an authentic statement piece of art in any space.

About
Einar Johansen was born in 1906. Trained as a painter at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before becoming a ceramicist. Between 1935 and 1958, he had his own pottery studio and began to work at Søholm from 1958-1966, designing several beautiful stoneware and ceramics.
