Vintage Hans J. Wegner (1914 - 2007) CH25 solid oak easy chairs.
One of the first 4 designs drawn exclusively for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1950 by Wegner.
The CH25 easy chair has remained in continuous production alongside the CH24 Wishbone chair since 1950.
This timeless and iconic design takes Danish craftsmen approximately 10 hours to hand weave the back and seat with around 400m of woven paper cord. Beautiful from all angles, this chair is as revolutionary today as it was back in 1950 when it was first put into production.
The solid oak frames have been lightly restored, with original paper cord in excellent condition.
