Early Hans J. Wegner (1914 - 2007) CH25 solid oak easy chair. This chair was one of the first four designs drawn by Wegner exclusively for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1950. The CH25 easy chair has remained in continuous production alongside the CH24 Wishbone chair since 1950. This timeless and iconic design takes approximately 10 hours for the back and seat to be hand woven with around 400m of woven paper cord. Beautiful from all angles, this chair is as revolutionary today as it was in 1950 when first put into production.
